Ampney Crucis Primary School lies at the heart of the community, and has a caring “family atmosphere”. It is supported by the Pleydell Trust. Reputed to be the one of the oldest schools in Gloucestershire, it is now housed in modern buildings, with the latest IT and high academic standards. In addition, there are spacious grounds, a sports field and a large dinner hall. There are 80 pupils on the roll.
