Previous directories of residents themselves could not be re-instated because of widespread concerns about privacy as well as rapid changes in population.

 

We should like to thank everyone who has provided entries and advertisements under considerable pressure of time during the peak of the holiday season. We should also like to thank Christine Cridford and David Vessey, our co-editors on The Ampney Times,  who have provided advice and much practical help.  We believe that we have included all the voluntary organisations based in the Ampneys, but hope to hear from any which we have inadvertently omitted.

 

As well as being distributed to all households in the three villages free of charge, the directory will also be put up on the Ampney Crucis website (with contributors’ email addresses removed) so that it can be continuously updated during the two years in which it will be current.  We shall then think about what form it should take for 2008-9; please do get in touch with either of us if you have any suggestions – or just to let us know what you think of this experiment. Meanwhile, please do get in touch with the Ampney Crucis website about changes as they occur.
