Dean took over the Chatterbox in 1936 and stayed with it until its death in 1955,  after 89 years of publication.  Considering they were the most recent of Chatterbox publishers, surprisingly little is known about the Dean company.  Any information regarding the final years at Dean would be appreciated.

Dean Chatterboxes carried no volume number nor year date.  The year date shown below is taken from an average of readers’ suggestions, based on the family inscriptions in their various volumes.
